About the Department

The City of Lake Mills is a city of approximately 5000 people. It is located along Interstate 94 between Madison and Milwaukee.The Lake Mills Police Department is made up of 11 full-time officers, 3 part-time officers, and 2 secretaries. The department handles approximately 5000 calls a year.The Dispatch center is open from 7am to 5pm Monday – Friday. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department dispatches for the department when the Dispatch Center is closed.
